FAQs

FAQs
Would you be able to play a specific song request?

Given a suitable notice period, we can perform special requests (for example, for the ‘first dance’ at a wedding). If you would prefer the original, we can also arrange to play  it. Please call to discuss your requirements.

How far will you travel?

We have performed at numerous venues across the North West of England, and as such we are very flexible around location. Travel expenses are included within our basic fee for work within a one-hour radius and accommodation / travel expenses will be added for locations where we need to stay overnight.

How long do you perform?

We have over four hours of music from which we will typically build two 1-hour sets or three 45-minute sets as required. Upon booking we will talk to you about the composition of your audience to ensure that the sets contain an appropriate mix of music. We will also discuss the required set-up, start and finish times to suit your particular event although we’re often required to be flexible on the night!

Do you provide all your own equipment?

Yes we bring a full compliment of equipment. Our PA system consists of a 4000 Watt bi-amped setup, with two pairs of speakers (2 Electrovoice bass bins & 2 Electrovoice top speakers) which ensures a superb sound for small, medium and large venues. We also utilise a 24 channel mixing desk to ensure the highest production quality available.

Do you provide music during the intervals?

We have specially prepared iPods which we play during intervals to ensure the party continues without us! We can also provide gentle background music as required (for example throughout dinner). Additionally, we can also supply an experienced DJ/compere who will provide a full disco facility to compliment the live music, and manage announcements throughout the evening. Our sound setup will outperform any conventional disco that you might otherwise choose to hire – the sound will be more akin to a ‘club’–type setup (although volumes will always be controlled to suit you and your guests), so please don’t spend more on a separate disco it’s just not necessary!

Does the band have insurance?

We carry standard performers’ insurance that covers for personal liability in the event of injury to third parties. Our PA equipment is also fully PAT tested.
